Bedroom Window

All through high school I lived in my parents' basement.

My bedroom window was one of those newer emergency windows so one could escape if necessary. I used it mostly for sneaking out.

The lock on the window was broken, so my friends and I used it as a front door to my room. My family even used it whenever they got locked out of the house.

After the night at Jamison Woods, I rarely talked to Nathan in school. He didn't want people to know he was gay, so to prevent any suspicions, we pretended we didn't know each other. It was hard to see him in the hall and not be able to run over and give him a hug or even say 'What's up?' It was for the best though. I didn't really care what people thought about me, but I figured being openly bisexual in my small town would have been too much for me to deal with back then. Hell, we seriously only had one "minority" in the whole school.

If Nathan and I were going to continue our thing together, we were going to have to do it in secrecy. So, the only time that Nathan and I could spend together was at night, when everyone else was asleep.

Every night around 11:00pm, Nathan would crawl through my bedroom window. We would fool around for a few hours. Mostly just kissing and cuddling. Lying in my bed together- our two, warm, naked bodies pressed together. Just laying there and staring into each other's eyes.

In study hall at school, the freshman girls that sat in front of me used to always gawk at Nathan from across the room. Talking about how he was so beautiful. How he had gorgeous eyes and a nice body. And how it was a shame that he was going out with Sarah.

I used to just sit there and laugh to myself. Little did they know that every night their fantasy boy would crawl into the quiet-kid-that-sat-behind-them's window to make-out.

Hehe.
